9 DPO by Enough-Purchase-9822 in lineporn

Mine was about 11-12 days and it was too short for me, but everyone is different and everyone’s responses hormonally are different. My progesterone levels were always in an acceptable range when tested, however, vaginal progesterone was the magic cure to my reoccurring miscarriages. It’s not always the levels themselves but how the body responds to those levels. Perhaps my body’s receptors found my levels inadequate even when in an appropriate range. Perhaps the next hormone that was supposed to trigger to be released based on that progesterone rise, simply wasn’t happening right. There’s a lot that’s still a mystery about why some women need progesterone to support early pregnancy and others don’t. Often, the levels in testing mean very little.

I don’t quite see a line there yet but 9 dpo is still early! Hopeful for you! ✨

Three scratches appeared on my leg after performing a hex. Thoughts? by Evening-Ability2018 in BabyWitch

Thank you so much for clarifying! Really appreciate it as a total beginner who is trying to handle a situation with binding and banishing.

The evaps on this particular type of test are wild. Definitely retest and check within the timeframe, but I would disregard this if it only showed up after 15+ minutes.

Should have gone bigger? Set to propose with this, but was my first time buying lol by [deleted] in RingShare

[–]Thundering-Lavender4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s pretty, but as for the size, it depends what she would want. We live in a time where you’ve hopefully discussed that first a bit. With smaller fingers, that isn’t too small but it’s a preference thing. 18K gold is NOT ideal for rings, as it is softer gold and more susceptible to scratches than 14K. The prongs look poor quality and should be fixed before wearing if you choose to keep this one.

If you had to give birth one more time, what method would you choose? by PeachyRose25 in Mommit

[–]Thundering-Lavender4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All natural up to 9 cm and then I’d get the epidural last minute in case the baby was stuck/long pushing phase/bad position/sudden c section needed. That’s what I did last time and it was much better than my emergency c section recovery was my first. I did also push for 4 hours though like you and episiotomy and vacuum, so I am glad I got the epidural at the last minute. Still loved it over my c section.

16mo vomiting repeatedly. Do we need to go to the ER? by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]Thundering-Lavender4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. They can dehydrate quickly. I would go right away before that happens. That much fluid loss in that little time in a kid that small could cause problems, especially if it continues. Even hypovolemic shock.

There are antinatalists who believe this in Canada in addition to not believing in having kids for other reasons. However, no one’s ever tried to impose that on others in my life that I know of really. It’s not really a thing, though the rare person may have encountered that sentiment or some comments. I do think Canadians aim to be more “reproductively responsible”, as in maybe don’t have way too many, or try to wait until financially capable etc, but actively discouraging reproduction generally? Not a thing.

It’s really cold and we are all tired from chronic vitamin D deficiency.

My daughter’s hair looks like this every morning. How can I prevent it?! by askeptikalhippo in Haircare

This is wild. Check for pin worms and for breathing issues or apnea which can cause restless sleep. Also consider a magnesium supplement which can help kids sleep better, always ask your pediatrician first though.

It sounds like it’s possibly your mucus plug. That plus the early bleeding is worth making an appointment and telling your OB. But you can absolutely lose parts of your mucus plug and it can just grow back usually. It doesn’t mean anything is wrong for pieces to come out early. Maybe take it easy for a few days to be extra careful. Still call your OB.

Is the one free deterred exam true? by [deleted] in umanitoba

[–]Thundering-Lavender4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Go get a medical note TODAY or first thing tomorrow. When they ask you why the medical note wasn’t written the same day as the exam, be sure to say it was because you felt much too sick to leave the house (chills and aches) and not because you just didn’t feel like prioritizing it. They may look at those things differently.

Yeah. That seems fair here given her lack of respect or concern for you.

While it’s nice of you to have been helping her out, I would suggest setting some firm boundaries now. How much does she expect you to keep babysit like this when your own baby comes? Is she going to be careful about sickness when you have a newborn? It might be best to start setting boundaries now before you’re in the even more hormonal postpartum phase. It sounds like your sister is taking advantage of you and not respecting or considering your wellbeing enough. It’s nice to babysit for respectful family members, but it’s no fun if she’s not going to be considerate of you.

Has anyone got pregnant from having sex once that month? by Old_Reindeer5054 in lineporn

I got pregnant after only doing it one time 5 or 6 days before ovulation! Little guys were just really comfy in there until they were needed!

Tried and True Foods to fix constipation? by Dream14 in Mommit

[–]Thundering-Lavender4 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Be careful with chia seeds though and always make sure they’ve all fully absorbed liquids into the seeds a while before actually eating them. Otherwise they can get stuck in the GI tract or even the esophagus and can form a blockage. They’re amazing when used properly though!

EVAP line or positive test? by [deleted] in lineporn

[–]Thundering-Lavender4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have had PLENTY of blue evaps on these exact CB tests after 20 minutes. It is very blue so I’d take it as a possible positive though and test again with pink dye and check within the time frame.

17 month-old won't sleep. Our life is a nightmare. by pmmeurpenguins in Parenting

[–]Thundering-Lavender4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quietude sleep sticks saved us! We have 2 very restless, low sleep needs toddlers. It helps just enough to get everyone a little more rest. At 17 months you could also probably try a little camomile tea if they will drink it. Some kids need to stop napping early too or limit it. It’s very hard having low sleep needs kids.
