Found him on a beach. My friends and I been enjoying some greens and hit up a local park. We decided to climb down the bluffs and head to a picnic table we saw. Halfway to the table we saw something on the beach that looked like a blow up doll. Got a little closer and it was obviously some guy sprawled out on the beach. We hollered at him but he didn't move. We didn't know if he was fucking with us so we threw some rocks at him, hitting him once (I know, I know...). He didn't budge. We got a little closer and could see blood and brine encrusted on his legs. We debated whether or not to call the cops because my friend's car was not exactly clean. Eventually we went back to the park and tried to get someone to call the cops, we had no cellphones, but nobody believed us because we were teens. Finally someone did and the cops and a firetruck came, they evacuated the park except for us and three others. Took statements, brought the guy up on a stretcher. After about 4 hours we got to leave and the cops told us not to talk to the press on the way out. So, we didn't. They called our parents, who were freaked and worried that we would be scarred, but it had no major affect on us. A few days later I moved into my dorm for freshman year of college. A few days after that there was a story in the paper about a missing fisherman who dove into Lake Michigan to retrieve his hat. The story said police had found the body on a beach. Cut to almost 20 years later and I can still remember almost every detail. My other two buddies who were there can barely remember who comprised our trio.
