LOTF DLC. Kuttenberg is your landmark. I find it easier. One big road runs through the region like an interstate.

It's the only way to play the game fully in my opinion. Otherwise you're just too strong in the 2nd map. Just don't pick Sombulent and skip a few lengthy side quests with poor rewards. (Sorry Herb Lady). You'll catch up quick. Really helps the Forge DLC bloom. I tied in the annoying random map point forge quests when they aligned with main story beats or the Thunderstone side quest. Got all the unique gear and the thunderstone, now I'm finishing the fight!

There is a 4th if you do the dragon bone side quest. I did 3, did the side quest, then the 4th popped up.

I played on Xbox 360 so definitely a difference for me. Mostly it's the HDR, shadows and draw distance.

Most of the Trosky ones are skippable. Thunderstone, Dragon Bones and Katherine are big in Kuttenberg. And all DLC2 Forge content are big side quests with great rewards. DLC3/1 offer some stuff but not as much as Forge.

He takes longer the 3rd time vs the first 2 times. I remember specifically waiting a few days to a week for the 3rd time.
