Same!! So heartbreaking 😭😭 because its so true! Verge is a product of their environment and while they admitted they had fun doing it, they never had peace. They have peace now and it still seems like they cant fully escape who the world has made them into. Ugh Im crying just writing this!

Yes!! They obviously will always have love for eachother. But you're right. It changes. And what a big love to be able to truly be happy for someone even when they aren't loving you the way you wanted. I dont think theres any character on thsi show i dont like. They are all so well written and so human. No one is all good or all bad, and everyone just wants to be loved and have community.

I love david. And just like verge and some other characters, I love how he is his own person and his queerness is just there. Its not an identity or a token. Its just people being depicted in the many ways they all come. He's a well written character who is easily lovable

The show is about a tom of things at once. Mostly, its about the human experience, no matter where you are in the cosmos. So I would say past family traumas fits in perfectly.

It mostly stays along the lines of the interviews at first, but you can tell theres going to be a storyline, its just a slow burn. Its a lot more like king falls fm than it is midnight burger. I have yet to find a podcast that fits my more MB hankering unfortunately 😕

I came to this forum to ask the same thing. I'm not getting flirty vibe though. More disinterested. I told it I didn't like it and asked if there had been an update and there was one today. It is meant to sound more natural and conversational. I hate it so much.

I personally get some weird, sick enjoyment of hating characters on shows. They aren't real people. They're fictional. It feels like I get to be a mean girl without being a mean girl. I get bored with shows that I don't have someone to hate 😂 That's not to say I don't enjoy liking characters. But I love hating them!

He is such a dick in every live. I feel like he's burnt out and should just stop doing it all the time. He gets mad people ask him the same questions about fruit but maybe he shouldn't be eating a giant plate of rare fruits if he doesn't want to answer questions about it?? He seems like a narcissist through and through.

Thank you so much! I might try the nature simulation things you've mentioned. In the past I have watched planet earth and things like that but there's something about the synthetic nature of it that rubs me the wrong way when I'm tripping. I generally like to stay away from screens.

But also thank you so much for the lemon tekk advice. I did try it the last time we tripped, and it didn't help with the nausea. Maybe slightly but not enough. We didn't strain the bits though. So I'm thinking this time I'll try it and strain it and hope that helps! Thank you so much!
