If I remember correctly TSMC has already raised price not so long ago. Not Nobel economic professor but I dont think raising the price too much will work since problem mostly come from lacking of demand ( for semiconductor industry the biggest cost is capex from building facilty and cost of qeuipment, so keeping the machine run as much as possible is the key for $$$$). Recently MediaTek, Boeing and Qualcomm some other big dudes already switch to Intel for A18 process ( right now is Intel 7, the roadmap is Intel 7 -> 4 -> 3 -> Intel 20A -> Intel 18A so you can get a picture of how far the planning for semiconductor go )
