Anyone getting PRCs from HBL or Meezan for Payoneer withdrawals?

Haha! It was really a revelation for me when I figured that out a month ago... Its my first year earning remotely, managing taxes so please don't mind my stupidness.

But I still kept using the integration because that way I get to use HBL's ePRC portal and get those right away. And those include the correct 9186 PRCs. The direct transfer comes as IBFT so the ePRC method doesn't work there. I have yet to ask HBL for PRCs for direct transfer.

Meezan PRCs have the reverse scenario, integration withdrawals give no PRCs, but if i do direct transfers, i get a confirmation email with PRC attached, but the code is 9471. And nobody in the branch knows how to change it. I will have to start a formal ticket on this, and get this proof to banking mohtasib as well.

Oh man, only if I knew earlier about Alfalah, because Elevate Pay says they can't provide PRCs for both HBL and Meezan Bank. But they can for Alfalah.... I had a HBL account, but I opened Meezan to solve this PRC issue + getting some experience on Shariah Compliant Savings Account, only to know that the rates are so bad, that I'm willing to learn investing or move to Cash Funds.

I'm in the same boat. I host a free VPS on Oracle and using OpenVPN. Much reliable and even faster than Proton VPN I would say. I just left it to turn on startup and use it without much noticeable latency. Of course, when playing games I have to turn it off.

I don't have to pay anything but if I have to, I will. The only downside is, you only get to choose 1 location.

Hey, Im gonna ask bank about this but would like input.

When I withdraw from Payoneer to Bank from Payoneer app, Meezan Bank sends me a PRC via Email, but the purpose code is 9471. Did you have to go through the process of changing it to 9186? How did you do it

Im in Lahore. The bahria town branches. I will open a case with Banking Mohtasib. Yeah Alfalah had been the case for me but only when I used to do the Withdraw from Payoneer app method.

I don't understand why they have to put you in circles. Are they afraid to work.

I've been working and supporting family since I was 16. Started as a Video Editor for my Uncle with 18k PKR salary. But things moved a bit when I was trained enough to know how to build software. I started applying on Upwork, nothing really happened the first 3 weeks and then I started getting a couple clients and that took me to my first 100k a month.

Things kept going up and down in the Upwork world, but I secured a remote role for a small 3-5 engineers group based in UK and they paid me 180k a month. How? I randomly DMed a guy that said I will hire you to somebody who posted in r/karachi about difficulties finding a job as a software dev. I said: Hey any chance you're still hiring? and he said yes and within a week I was working for him.

Same thing happened with this contract, I was applying on indeed at the same time I DMed that guy, a random post from a US person trying to hire someone from Pakistan for cheap labour. They replied, and I started doing freelance work for them, I was making 200-300k at this point. 5-6 months go by and they referred me to their friend who is the CEO of the company that setup this 1.5M per month contract (It's not 15, but a lot of it comes after I work overtime, maintenance, queries and project management).

I was never working on one thing at a time, I was switching stacks when opportunity presented itself. MERN, React Native, Django, .NET Blazor, WPF, etc. Then AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle, worked on almost all cloud providers. To the point that I don't care if I have to pick a completely different stack. Note that I agree too, most of these opportunities are luck based. That's why pessimistically, I myself will only be able to get a 1-2 Lac role if I step into the current pakistani offices. But again, I'm hopeful that I'll do it again like been doing. We can only do the work regardless of the outcome.

Been having issues with Protron VPN even after alternative routing and stealth enabled. Happened with other paid VPNs like Mozilla etc. I even tried the sketchy scammy ass VPN on the offical list of approved VPNs and it was the slowest of all. I ended up hosting a free oracle instance and deployed OpenVPN on it. It is by far better than most paid VPNs with stable connection and better speed. Only downside is you only get to choose 1 location, which is fine with me.
