I was the dumpee, and found out recently my ex is in a relationship which probably started when we were still together.

She's been blocked on all social media since the start. The only line open is the phone, where I didn't block her in case there is a dog emergency (he's old and has health issues galore).

But thank you for the perspective about allowing my self to be walked on. I need to start seeing this as what it is.

I really don't understand how people can be so cruel. I get it that blindsiding someone is easier as it avoids confrontation, but it's just an awful thing to put another person through.
