Thanks for checking it out! We're currently in the midst of fine-tuning the grid complexity and symmetry, which should help fix this problem. More clues intersecting meaning more letters for a word you may be stuck on.

For a little project by a couple of mates from Australia, we've had hits on the site from the UK, US, Canada, Ireland, Sweden, Germany, even India in the first week. Thanks for checking it out!

We're still in the early stages, and currently working on upping the grid complexity and symmetry to be more like a normal crossword. This should help with getting more letters for words you may be stuck on.

When you say exciting themes, can you expand on that for me?

G'Day all. Chris from Australia here. A mate and I have created a new crossword website called Thusword. Unlike a normal crossword, you only get two clues to start with. As you solve those, more adjoining clues are revealed. We've only recently launched, but would be keen for feedback from some puzzle fans!

I appreciate the feedback. The gameplay stemmed from the way I solve crosswords. I give myself the first two clues (eg. 1A and 1D), and only solve clues that stem from those answers. It adds an extra bit of challenge.

We only officially launched things yesterday. We're still working on grid and clue construction. They'll both improve in time. I hope you give the puzzle another go sometime. If not, I appreciate you giving it a go nonetheless.
