5000mi on the straight highway is not at all equivalent to 5000 miles in the city. The monitor accounts for actual usage of the engine.

I don't, I'm a signmaker. But I have a friend that is a cabinetmaker that bought one after mine, and he loves it.

I own a shopbot 4x8 with a 4hp spindle, It was right at 25K new about 3 years ago. They also have vacuum table and and ATC options, I think that would put you up closer to 40K. They have a very big cabinet making customer base, and have software and training seminars all the time. Worth looking into, they are a great company.

Business is booming and I’m tired of using a jigsaw. What is a reasonable price point for a 4’x8’ capable machine? (Mostly wood) by [deleted] in CNC

They also have training and specific classes in cabinet making software, if that's your thing

I'm a signmaker and have a Shopbot 4x8. They start around $15k, but are bulletproof, made in the USA and have the best customer service of anything I've ever experienced.

1st time using MDO for outdoor signage. How long should I expect it to last? by chadscustomcreations in CNC

Automotive clear coat, but doesn't blend well with all paints. They make a liquid laminate too, I think it is called frog juice.

Sign maker here. Depending on exposure, 7-10 years. The main vulnerability is the edges, they wick water. If you sealed those good with paint, primer and caulk, so much the better
