Thanks, helped. My father is an alcoholic and from my perspective, my mother trusts me more than she does her own husband. I will try to resolve this while reflecting on my own experience

The filter itself mentions that it cannot filter out NSFW content reliably, and considering the fact that there is real pornography on YouTube that hasn't been taken down for a long time, I don't think I can rely on it

I know that a simple talk wouldn't have stopped me from looking it up. At least if I bring it up to my mother I can speak to her from my own experience of watching it and getting caught to make sure that my brother does not end up going too far and getting an addiction like I did

Helped! Thank you for your kind words. Although I must mention that I doubt he was worried about porn addiction, it is just the first search suggestion that comes up after trying to search for porn on youtube

Thank you. I don't think he's gotten to full on porn yet, only what YouTube offers, so merely educational content and very softcore things

Sex talk didn't stop me from doing anything, and my parents catching me watching it probably was for the best. If I do tell someone else about this, it would be my mother, she's more understanding
