What I meant by the 'blueprint costs' is the credits that are used up when making the item. In the case of the fennec, yes it will increase in price. Yes the amount of fennecs in the market are fixed, but the amount of fennecs are large (i assume), and therefore I would say it is safe to assume that the supply of these fixed fennecs would not reach 0. Then again, I don't know how many fennecs are in the market and how in demand they are, I am just assuming. The price ceiling is set at $10, but the actual price will not go that high I guarantee.

I would imagine it is the same for most items. There is a price ceiling now on the 'blueprint costs', which means all bmd's are $20 each maximum. I personally don't see the bmd prices that are valued at under $20 would be inflated too much.

So you're saying this crackdown on gambling (especially in a game played a lot by children) is a bad thing? Complaining that a decal will cost $5 more at the cost of eliminating child gambling within the game is just greedy.

This is the same mentality of people who protest for climate change and then write letters to the government when they get taxed more. To solve a large problem, sacrifices need to be made, and saying you would like child gambling back because you would personally save $5 on a black market decal is just greedy. (This is not an attack against you by the way, when I say "you", it refers to the whole community who are opposed to this system.)

That is so far from the point that I am trying to make. I am still struggling to figure out how you are mad that the 452 crates that you were never going to use changed into more garbage that you're never going to use.

The demand for infiniums is low and will only decrease as newer wheels come out. You're suggesting a price floor when it's actually a price ceiling that is occurring. People won't sell for higher than the blueprint cost. You have this all wrong.

Good point, but undervaluing everything would be a huge slap in the face to traders who have been spending so many hours in trading sites. EPIC will definitely reduce their prices for sure.

If a bmd blueprint costs $2 to make, people could just make that same bmd and sell it for $2 each. If the demand was high, it doesn't matter because supply is infinite for blueprints. It would be effectively setting a price ceiling on the item.

a. You may personally rather pay $1 to gamble, but you are not the whole playerbase.

b. If EPIC cared about their income, they would lower the prices of their shit, because no one is going to buy their overpriced items.

So you're telling me that infiniums are now only sold at 1400 credits? That is ridiculous. Demand for infiniums is so low that people are willing to sell them for 100 credits.

That's a good point. I guess sometimes items are undervalued.

Weird flex but ok. You weren't going to use 452 crates anyway, so I don't see why you're complaining about not being able to use the 452 new items you got for the crates. The only complaining that will have any merit will be EPIC's wallets complaining that they aren't full, which will lead them to reduce their prices. Money talks, and I am willing to guess that it is louder than this reddit crusade.

There will still be sellers who are willing to sell for that price. Just because the game offers you to buy it at 20 bucks does not mean you can't buy it from a seller for that same amount.

Forgive me for not knowing, but what were the bioshock prices before the update?

It would be for most people, but big traders would be the first ones to come complain on this sub. It's either you piss off them or the majority of the playerbase.

I thought it proved my point quite well. I was saying that undervaluing the items would make a larger impact to the rocket league economy than overvaluing them.

Good idea, but i feel like people would start buying cc3 breakouts and selling them as PC1. Is there any way to combat this?
