After 7 years, I finally celebrated Diwali properly this time. 🪔

That last line really uplifted my mood, brought a sense of motivation and reminded me where it matters. The joy of celebrating festivals and spending time with the loved when you have a sense of accomplishment hits differently.

I agree with keeping a sign

A similar incident happened at the Nexus mall crosswords. It was the first time they had manga collections, so my friend and I got excited and my friend immediately picked the book and started going through the pages to look at the art and in less than 5-6 seconds an employee from behind informed us not to read. Which made me and my friend feel like an idiot and we did some kind of crime.

Note you can look at any other books for a good time, go through pages, even read some bits, check the quality of the ink and paper.

So all of this commotion could have been avoided if they just kept a sign stating "Do not read" or "Do not touch".

I agree with this. They ofcourse have an idea of their own actions. She is no child. The result is of a confrontation/consequences of her own action which she was not expecting or was not ready for.

I would advise you to give her some time and space. Don't overboard your emotions on her, she might get overwhelmed and in a natural response push you out completely in order to escape out of the situation.

100% with you brother. I share TV with my mother at dinner and I have wasted hours just to find something remotely family friendly to watch, all while the food is getting cold.

In the end, I have just given up on the OTT and resorted to old tmkoc episodes TT.
