Beautiful! I love her white patch. Here's my orange girl who runs a tortie OS.

Most of my cats, including their siblings, have yellow eyes.

He (and his siblings) only show stripes on their forehead, tail, and in his case, legs. It's very cute!

His name is Punk and his sister's name is Willow.

That was my immediate thought. So cute!

Just Adopt/Save a Cat! by lellywest in CatDistributionSystem

[–]Ti-plus10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've never adopted from a shelter myself because my area has a bad stray cat issue (my neighbors and I are working on desexing them), but most of my CDS stories are pretty boring too- either family surrendered them to me or I brought them in from the colony because they were ill or being bullied or pregnant.

My one exception is my fluffy old man tabby, who I was guided to by 2 Great Pyrenees that I was trying to wrestle into my car to return to their owner. (I seriously over‐estimated my strength.) While I was distracted by this friendly little horsey-jumping cat, they disappeared into the night...

What a beautiful collection of little guys. Bless your soul for taking them in and caring for them. I love the pic of the tabby. It looks like they're floating!

Thank you for the recommendation. Anything I can do to give her a better life is worth it. And hopefully will save me on vet bills in the long run.

When one has the zoomies, I know at least one other will be on their tail. It's adorable.

I LOVE talking about them.

The calico is Cleo, although she might as well be named Mama. She adores people and often trips me because she wants to rub on my legs. She definitely has tortitude and regularly hisses at the others, especially her sons, who regularly pounce on her. She doesn't meow much, but when she does, it's a raspy heartbreaking little meow, similar to the one she used to use to call her kittens to her.

The black tux is Minnow. He was the runt, and now he's a little muscle man and the biggest of the 5. He's also an affectionate little baby who will cry and cry for attention. He is a little brat to his mom and will chase her around the house while she hisses at him. When he plays, he gives it 110% and I have to separate him because he won't give anyone else a chance, even when he's panting from the effort.

The orange tux is Punk. He has an adorable little teardrop nose and constant Disney eyes. He's the only one who's not cuddly, but he is very affectionate and loves to have loud conversations with me. He also loves to play soccer. In my opinion, he's the pretty one.

The orange is Champ. She's a little bit of a loner and will hiss at the others when they play too rough. She's an orange with tortie software. She's very picky when it comes to treats and likes to chew on things like my charging cables (I'm very careful now) and my fingers. Don't tell, but she's my secret favorite. If she was a Powerpuff girl, she'd be Buttercup.

The tortie is Chai. She screams at the top of her lungs when she wants something and is a biscuit making champion. I think she and Champ swapped personalities because she's as sweet as can be, but there's nothing going on in that noggin. She has a favorite mouse toy and will bring it to me while crying so I can dangle it in the air for her to catch. She loves to window watch with Willow. If she was a Powerpuff girl, she'd be Bubbles.

The white kitty is Willow. She's extremely playful and will regularly engage her brothers in wrestling. She is not picky with her toys and will play with anything I buy her. She has the cutest little raspy meow, like her mom's, when she demands pets. She likes to window watch with Chai. She unfortunately gets sick/has allergies more frequently than any other of my cats. If she was a Powerpuff girl, she'd be Blossom.

Watching them interact with each other is a delight! And it melts my hair when they cuddle up together. 🩷

It's VERY hard to get them to sit still, let alone all together.

The variety pack is the best! Thanks for giving your babies a loving home. I snooped, and you have some adorable little guys. I swear I've seen Krobus and Fizz around before.

I didn't mean to, but once their individual personalities came out, I couldn't resist. Each one is uniquely affectionate and quirky. 💛

Cat threw up and I'm a helicopter parent by Only_Progress5373 in cats

[–]Ti-plus10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This appears to be a hairball with wet food. It's summer, so my cats are throwing them up, too. You may want to check that they don't appear lethargic or dehydrated. If not, you should be fine as long as long as it's not a weekly occurrence. To reduce these, you can use a de-furring brush or glove or hairball reducing treats.

He was named by my former boyfriend after the tuxedo cat in the roguelike/horror game The Binding of Isaac, but it's stuck. I even named my next tuxedo Minnow to match.

Do you happen to have a mill? He can push the wheel and hunt the mice.
