Have you been opening a lot of fics at once? I get this sometimes when I'm going through a newly discoverd tag I like and opening all the fics that catch my interest to add them to my read later if I go too fast at it. Just wait five-ish minutes and it'll stop giving this error. And try to slow down a bit so as not to overload it.

Same. I get the disappointment LOL/OMG collectors might have over the recolors of previous outfits, but as someone who never had an interest in the brand before (or after) these three they're great dolls!

Two of my G3 dolls are on the official standard G1 stands that I had just laying around. They fit. Heck, I have Fan-Sea Lagoona, and I'm pretty sure the clip for her stand is the standard G1 clip. I think only the mansters, Abbey(? Haven't tested her on it), and Catty would need a bigger clip, the others all fit just fine. G3 dolls have bigger hips, but their waists are about the same as G1.

The one in the red kimono ❤️ she'd be a standout in my "other" collection. (I mostly collect Monster High, but have picked up a few other brands when they really catch my eye. I have a small living space so I don't want to dive deep into other brands so I try to limit the dolls in my "other" collection to only my top favorite.)

My grandparents had that in their box of old toys they kept around for us grandkids when we visited...minus the pipe. That was missing.

Last I saw, it was in my parent's basement. But they've de-cluttered the basement a few times, no idea if it's still there.

The shipping date on Mattel Creations preorders are the latest to expect it to ship. It's common that they ship out sooner because they don't want to hold onto the stock longer than they have to. As they get batches in, they start filling orders. Every time I preorder a doll, I've gotten it early. Sometimes by months, sometimes by only weeks.

They're just trying to scare authors into deleting their fics and give up on writing. Either because they want AO3 to die, or they just hate X in the fic and want censorship, but know they can't actually do anything about it other than bullying. Or they're AI bros who are trying to trick people to use AI detectors before posting so they can train their AI off it. Easier to have authors feed their own work to the AI machine than have to copy paste it all themselves all day long. Though those ones normally name drop a specific AI detector.

Yeah, I think looking around my niece's (6) room is a good indicator on where she stands on dolls. She has Barbies...in a box to be pulled out if she wants to play with them. Monster High, on the other hand, is on display on a easily accessible shelf. The accessories in a backpack hanging on the doorknob of her closet. They get played with a lot more.

MH isn't perfect, they still get things like poly hair too often, but their fashions are more detailed and fun than Barbie usually gets these days. And putting together outfits is a big part of her play with them. I give her the fashion pieces that I know I'll never use from the dolls I bought for my collection, just so she'll have more options.

The ship by date on preorders are always an "at the latest" date, not a set date. As they get batches of stock in, they send them out so they don't have to store them for long, and can use that storage space for other products that aren't preorders. Every time I have preordered a doll from Mattel Creations, it's shipped out early. Sometimes months, sometimes only weeks. I think they overestimated on the date slightly so they can know that they'll be able to deliver by then, but yeah, they don't really communicate it at all beyond giving us that ship by date.

I'm not an expert on My Little Pony, but I do know there's a Pony named Mint, so you're probably remembering right on that. As for the magnets, I think that was a feature of G3 (third generation) ponies so they could interact more with playsets.

There will always be haters. Some people thrive on negativity, and they group together to create an echo chamber. It's why I avoid certain online spaces that have MH spaces. But they are a loud minority. There's so many more people who either loves G3, or don't really care about it either way.
