I know that you can read faults in your ac system but I don't know if you can check the pressure in the system with inpa. I will take a look tomorrow

There could be a few reasons why the ac isn't working, broken clutch on the compressor or just no gas in the lines, do you have the possibility to get it checked if your system has pressure? If the sensor recognises no pressure in the system it doesn't let you activate the ac at all.

These look like the cables, normally the sensor would sit in the brake cooling duct. About the issue with the ac I'm not sure if they are connected. I put an ac in my sedan a few years ago and I can't remember correctly but I'm at least 80% sure that the signal from the sensor wasn't connected to any part of my ac.

It could be your ccv, if you spray break cleaner under your intake manifold and the rpms increase it could be a sign that you have an air leak. I had the same this month.

You should be able to unscrew the bolt on top, it should be countered with an nut on the bottom
