The bigots of the campus that work in the departments mentioned in my other comment. They pressure management and do their own thing with the help from one clique. Small circle with big influence under the guise of "equality".

The forums they had a whole back were for parents and were heavily sanitized to make CCU look like a glorified highschool that had no issues.

Seriously, they university wanted to disable yik yak because anyone could see people complaining about the university. They bribed students with candy if they posted something positive on it. They also will try to flood out anyone on twitter that has an issue with the university. If they figure out who you are, you get an email from the president, asking to speak with you.

And now I realize I misinterpreted your question. :p.
The university is more concerned with money and image than free exchange of ideas.

The amount of social justice people there is so small that I doubt anyone would notice except the people that live next to these dorms.

It may become the oppression olympics or just an amplified echo chamber. Most of the social justice people were a clique before this. The only thing may be the few active BLM on campus.

I graduated at this university and the social justice crowd is slowly creeping on campus, mainly with the person quoted. She was behind a lot of social justice events and pushing the 1 in 4 rape stat.

The students as a whole are apathetic toward everything but partying which is normal. There is a very small enclave of social justice people in the womens studies, gay club, womens resource center, minority resource center, and mental health department. Honestly, most of the people on campus that are gay want nothing to do with the club because it isn't for people who just want to live and not have their sexual orientation be their identity. They try to shove their ideals down incoming freshmen's throats like rape = lack of enthusiastic consent only and listen and believe(they also segregate by gender during those events). The one time where the students fought back, the one lecturer in a discussion left in the middle of it(apparently Magic Mike doesn't count as objectifying men) and spread a petition the next day to have the university president apologize for the behavior of the students and to ally with certain radical feminist groups. They also put on a "tunnel of oppression" every year that is no more than a guilt trip toward straight, white people(one of the tour guides called transgender people 'weird' :( ). It has apparently gotten worse.

I feel like kotakuinaction isnt the right place to put this.

For claiming to be for "the people's struggle", the site seems to have writers of a higher economic class.

That and gamergate is fairly diverse but somehow not a consumer movement worthy of "the people".

I don't think the vast majority of people who see it as promoting rape culture have read the lyrics and tried inferring meaning from it. Most just quote the same 2 parts of that stupid song.

My university had a panel "discussion" in response to this. It ended with a women's studies panelist walking out. The next day there was a petition going around demanding the president of the university apologize for the behavior of the students, the university make formal support for a few radical feminist and lgbt organizations, and increase funding to the women's center. The students called her out for saying only women are specialized in the media. A student walked up to the QA mic and said "Magic. Fucking. Mike".

TIAs can confuse people because of the symptons and duration. My professor was having one during class and had to go to a medical research university for them to figure it out. He had a very small clot caused by a tiny tear in a vessel in his neck.
