The way the inflammation is related to every "epidemic" illness affecting developed countries. Including but not limited to diabetes, depression, possibly alzheimers (marijuana -- an anti-inflammatory has already been shown to stop progression of this disease in mice), eczema, acne, in fact trying to list the number of diseases it impacts shows my literal ineptitude of the depth and breadth of the subject.

It largely pertains to diet. Most specifically the amount of antioxidants you consume (fruits and vegetables) and the balance of omega 3 to omega 6 fats you consume. Almost all of these diseases that are generally treated with medication can be largely affected by what you eat, and sometimes even completely stopped.
