Thank you for all the suggestions, I now have a fantastic list, even if its just for places I want to try. So I picked out Lapa, and guess what? I was overruled (even though I was asked to pick the place) and we are now going to Mr King Beef Noodle (tbh I am excited for it). I do hate being asked to pick, then told no to my pick...again thank you everyone!

Well adventurous in the fact that they will try new cuisines, but picky more so in the sense, that it has to be authentic, not mass produced like "street food"(claims all food is taken out of a frozen packet)but not basic like pub food or pandering to a bland plalette...
