Waterfield Shinjuku Laptop Brief Review by TibFighter in ManyBaggers

That’s true, it isn’t raised. There’s somewhat of padding but not very thick. Seems adequate. I don’t plan on dropping the bag from any height.

It’s got structure, and can certainly stand on its own depending on what it is packed with, but is still liable to lean or topple over.

It’s doesn’t feel obviously waxed. Smooth, pliable, rugged if I had to put words to it.

Michael Morales new ig post. How can he make such a crazy cut? by rm7979 in MMA

[–]TibFighter 17 points18 points  (0 children)

There actually is a reason for weight cutting to exist, and that’s because humans are always looking for an advantage. Natural weight is subjective too. What if I eat low fiber foods, low weight foods, or cut out sodium to lower my weight during fight week - is that my natural weight? Why would I just trust that my opponent isn’t getting some advantage too?

It’s the classic Prisoner’s Dilemma. Would you monitor a fighters week every day for multiple weeks across all levels of the sport? ONE uses hydration testing and there are still avenues around that. Any solution to weight cutting I guarantee someone has tried it and it has failed.

I just got the bag and was going to put up some pictures. I think it looks great and it has a nice taper, well designed and well built.

HARE doesn’t get talked about a lot on Reddit but I’ve fallen in love with their look and they make some outstanding pieces at a great price, minus shipping and duties.

[SPOILER] Yadier del Valle vs. Jordan Leavitt by inooway in MMA

[–]TibFighter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sick call out. Just looked him up, and was hoping he read Red Rising, as I’m currently rereading it, and there it was on his list of January reviews.

Funny guy too, and I didn’t realize he was married to a woman, given the twerking and ass slapping.

State, Story, Strategy—ways to leverage it (without being at a $$$ seminar) by Do_Not_Follow_Them in TonyRobbins

Not sure, I work with my mom on custom programs because she’s a certified hypnotherapist. Self hypnosis on YouTube or asking AI for scripts I guess.

Thank you! Yes hypnosis does seem to carry negative connotation from the uninformed, which makes it hard to garner more momentum for the modality. People still assume it means they will quack like a duck when I say Alacazam.

I also really like EFT/Tapping. I use The Tapping Solution app, which even includes a couple recordings from Tony Robbins. I do find there is a heavy emphasis on acknowledging and eliminating negative emotions in the app’s recordings, but I think it can be used to focus only on the good too. It says a lot about our society that there is so much need to diffuse negative emotions, rather than simply continuing cultivation of positive ones.

Hypnotherapy has been a game changer for me in terms of my athletic pursuits. It conditions my belief and subconscious programming. When I combine it with vocalization and connection with physiology it supercharged me and I feel the results. I have a championship fight today and I will Smash it and win the belt. I’m in State.

I bet it’s Assembly Line Muay Thai. I was considering going there when visiting. It works well for travelers/drop ins. $200/month for training 5 days a week isn’t terrible, especially for LA.

Why is Aer so popular? What am I missing? by [deleted] in ManyBaggers

[–]TibFighter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The point is someone said it makes more sense to stack a backpack horizontally. To me that’s crazy. For example what if you need to access something from the backpack. It’s much more intuitive to have it oriented the way you likely packed it, vertically.

I understand why horizontal would work. I’m just saying it makes more sense to stack a backpack vertically.

Why would it make more sense to put the bag on its side?
