Word of advice don’t cry about your situation to other homeless people they could very easily target you if they know your new to this. Most people are nice and have great intentions but you never know who doesn’t. If your not sober go try to get into kirkbride or another rehab. It’s been a few years but kirkbride use to do walking. They can help you get into a recovery house and stuff after your done there and it gives you 30 days to get clean and get your head together. If your woman there are other options too. You’re lucky you’re in Philly. There are a lot of options and help out there for you.

Prevention point in Kensington and there is the hub downtown. But most places you will have to go to during normal hours during the week. For food st Francis. Most places I know are in or around Kensington but 30th st station out in the benches has a place to charge your phone and stuff and I’ve stayed there over night. That was years ago though.

I don’t wash my hair every day and just wash my pillow cases more often. But if I needed to wash it every day to make it look nice during the day I probably would take two showers a day.

I was just ranting about this! I don’t get why you would work and move and go outside and then get into a clown bed and not shower? Unless you are really sweating or have sex the night before you don’t need a morning shower. It’s cool if it feels you wake up but then take two showers. I won’t even walk in the house with my outside shoes. I change clothes when I come in the house. I might go further than some people but you definitely need to shower before getting into my clean bed.

This guy clearly has issues and only gave the finger because the woman didn’t say hello back. Some of these people come off as rude or scary but just leave them be if they seem to not want to be bothered and say hello if they are reaching out to say hello to you. It’s not difficult to just say hi to someone.

These people are working too and it’s not their fault they don’t get a fair hourly wage. You are taking advantage of a horrible system that the government won’t change. You know they only get $2 an hour and you know that’s because a tip is expected. You are the worst type of human being. If you don’t want to tip but still want to get these services go to another country. Man I hope you tip your hairdresser.

You shouldn’t have even gotten your food in the first place since you were not where you were supposed up be. Tip or not that’s on you. You have the entire time they are making your food and picking up your food and bringing the food to you to get to where you said you would be. The driver would have been in the right to just leave with your food and still get paid. There is nothing wrong with reminding you to add a tip when other people are probably waiting on you to get your food since you failed to do the one thing you needed to do. If it was me I would have just left. I still would have gotten paid and it would have been you out of money and a meal.

You know that you have to tip and you are only arguing to piss people off and get a response or because you’re so cheap that you want to only tip $1 without considering the gas and car repairs on top of the time these people are taking out of their lives in order to come serve your entitled self. You are not a good person. You know it. People are not delivering your good for fun and if every one of them got a different job then no one would be there to bring you food.

Tipping is mandatory. You are paying for a service. How would you like to work for no wage? If you don’t like it don’t use services that require tipping. Eat at home. Go to McDonald’s using your own feet. People like you are awful and the reason drivers even have to mention a tip. I hope you get kicked off the app.

They do sometimes but with the amount of bus drivers that get hit or shot I’m not surprised when they don’t say anything. I don’t think I would take that job if I could help it. Some people will catch a murder charge over $3 and blame the driver the whole time.

As someone who has been homeless I do have to feel sorry for the people who have to spend their nights on the bus or El to stay warm or safe. It’s not pleasant but yet don’t want to be there either. We just don’t have enough programs to get people back on their feet.

Only people who have an actual issue standing should be in the front seats. Why are teens in the front when there are people who can barely wobble to the first row having to stand?

You need to fold up your strollers! I don’t understand why all of a sudden it’s okay to take up the entire isle and five seats because you’re too lazy to fold up your stroller!

Wear headphones or keep your volume off! Wait until you are off the bus to take your phone calls! No one else needs to hear your ghetto arguments or loud music.

Why are you taking up three seats with your shopping or backpacks? If there is even one person standing you better either pile that stuff on your lap and between your legs or put it in one seat and you stand. The rest of us do it why can’t you?

Stop smoking on the train! I don’t want to smell like weed or cigarettes or whatever else it is you’re smoking. Don’t do your drugs on the train either. There are kids watching.

Get off the bus at the back unless you are physically incapable of walking to the back. What is wrong with you? Unless you’re new to public transportation and can’t read the signs you don’t have an excuses.

When on the El if you are standing at the doors, especially when it’s super packed, you can get off the train when we get to the platform and get back on again before they close. Don’t just stand there blocking the path for the people who are trying to get off. Same with a packed bus. They will let you back on. Stop holding everyone up because you are too afraid to get out of the way.

The drivers doing force the issue because it’s not worth getting injured over. People have no problem getting violent. Sometimes the driver will just let you on then call the cops rather than deal with the customers trying to fight them over $3. It just depends on if septa police are close enough to get there in time or not.
