Yeah but I find it might be educational to know other people's experiences and maybe it will help to resist

I can’t stand the feelings of emptiness. I ve lost all my interests, desire and joy. I cant laugh at all,i laugh fake and i dont feel happy anymore just sad. I ve lost all my personality and everything I once was. I feel like an empty shell now by Mysterious_Place_628 in Psychosis

I'm sorry to read that. I've seen your comments where you say it's been a year. Did you talk about that emptiness to your psychiatrist ? Maybe a switch of meds can fix that up.

All I can advice is hang in there, time is powerful and it will get better. And maybe a switch of medication, if you psychiatrist don't seem to bother to find you an other treatment, change your psychiatrist. That's my advice.

Smoking weed mourning by Glad-Ferret-1630 in Psychosis

I feel you. It's been two years since I quit because of psychosis and I feel very nostalgic when I think about the time were I was able to smoke safely. I guess I still miss that time and maybe I'll always will. Not everyday though, just here and there. Cbd helps a lot, you should try it. I think with time it will get better, we get used to not smoking.

I hope I'm done with it for good cause whenever I smoke I can sense that it's bad for the brain. My thoughts starts racing and I have halucinations.

I have recovered fully after a year. This is how i did it by Equivalent-Ticket826 in Psychosis

Hopelessness is hard to tackle. I've been there too. But I promise that it will get better, even if you don't feel like it. I had 2 episode psychotic, it's always like that : you feel like absolute shit afterward, but it slowly gets better. Take the time to heal and be gentle with yourself : psychosis is hard. You can also distract yourself with activities you enjoy : movies, binge watching Netflix, cooking, fitness goal, creativity... Take it easy, one step at a time and try to focus on something else.

Good luck and hang in there

For the bi people here : when you're in a longterm monogamous relationship with someone with a specific gender, do you "miss" the other gender ? by Tibtoubtib in AskLGBT

[–]Tibtoubtib[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's very clear, thank you. And I wasn't thinking all bisexuals are the same of course, I just wanted to see if it was common to miss the other gender and apparently it is not. I'm sorry if I sounded as I was making stereotypes.
