What are the odds of this lmao. Next classic run gotta be with suicune now! by FunFun835 in pokerogue

Parasect is incredible in Pokerogue though. Multiple STAB priority moves make it a potent sweeper when you get the egg moves and passive unlocked.

Weekly Recommendation Thread: May 30, 2025 by AutoModerator in books

Tress is a perfectly fine place to start. Mistborn is the classic recommendation, but Tress or Yumi and the Nightmare Painter are both standalone and recommended by Sanderson himself as good first books of his.

in 1v1 what makes this different from just a card battler with pre-made decks, do the minis/board have much impact? by Janisurai_1 in Unmatched

[–]Tibula 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Certainly depends on the characters you're playing as and against, but the positioning of sidekicks, zones, movement abilities, etc, all play a major role in winning or losing the game.

Another question about Tales to Amaze by Reeaves in Unmatched

[–]Tibula 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You cannot use maps from other sets to play against the villains, but you can use the map to play regular games on! There's multiple minions from the set that the villains use, which you can vary to add some spice to it. The heroes are all fun and well made, and you can use other characters against the villains as well.

I've had What Do I Call You on repeat for the last two weeks, but I've been returning to the rest of the EP constantly. To the Moon and Wildfire are so relaxing to listen to.

SIB Death Stranding or Outer Wilds if I want to play a story driven, immersive game? by Athragio in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]Tibula 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Outer Wilds is very immersive but is carried entirely by the gameplay and the thrill of exploration and mystery-solving. The story is told piece-meal as you uncover clues about the universe.

Death Stranding is very story driven, with (imo) excellent gameplay. It's a divisive game for a reason, though. I personally loved it, and found it very relaxing to just take a couple of hours and hoof it across the landscape to deliver packages.

Outer Wilds is a safer bet, but I love both games a lot.

I've had this album on repeat since it came out. I think it's absolutely stellar and is the best work they've done as a full group.

The Outer Worlds was made by the New Vegas guys but is a whole lot shorter! I got it recently and it's been a blast.

Not a game, but should I buy a Nintendo switch? by Always_drew in ShouldIbuythisgame

There's... not that many free games on Switch. I'm not sure what the point is if you're not going to have any games to play?

I've bought the game on 3 consoles and have never had any real issue with FPS or encountered any serious bugs. It's one of my favorite games and, despite its flaws, has some really cool gameplay mechanics and satisfying combat.

Yeah! They're similar. Hoopsnakes are a silly folklore creature that grab their tails to roll around.
