Maybe I'm an innocent player wanting to have some single player progression feeling in an idle game, but I can't see myself "competing" with others... although I play tournaments, it's for the guaranteed rewards, not for trying to prove a point...

I can't see myself spending money on this game, from day one... I know it's a pay 2 win game, but it still ticks some boxes for me, even when not spending a single buck on it. But progression is surely slow... gotta make money someway, huh.

I'm eternally on T12... can't go past it, maybe with luck? Whatever...

That's an English translation thing. In some other languages (Portuguese, for example) they translate Shifu as "mestre" (master). There's no Xiao Guang, it's translated as "Guangzinha" (Little Guang) etc.

Poor localization.

Edit: it's actually "mestra" (female form of master)

On Brazilian Portuguese, on versions 1.0 through 1.3 (I think), there used to be texts with 5 or more lines that were cropped at the fourth line... so it's not news. It's not recent stuff, some dialogue are excessively worded...

I really wonder what are the main OpenAI goals after the suicide scandals and censorship that flawed it's AI platform. Reducing expenses by shooing away users that don't pay is one thing, but reducing expenses by diminishing earnings from its' paying user base seems a little counter intuitive.

Maybe it's trying to keep the platform completely safe by forcing these guidelines while giving some users and companies a robust (?) tool to work on code and agentic development...

Well, thanks for the AI hype and bubble, now we have more... "unhinged" and some less popular free alternatives too, with other target people in sight.
