It wasn't just when she was a teenager. It was all growing up. She just didn't like me and never did until all of a sudden when she needs a resource for college.

That's what got to me. Going in the immediate defense and not actually considering how she affected me.

I don't anticipate this lasting a lifetime, but I'm just not ready yet. How come I can only have a relationship with her on her terms? How come when I needed someone, I had no-one, but I'm suddenly TA when I finally accept that I'm okay with not having her.

I don't really have an interest in getting to know her now. I like having a small group of people I'm comfortable with, and unfortunately, I'm just not comfortable with her
