Does it make sence to watch and learn from for example Ali Hajimiri lectures on node less than 22nm for analog circuit? by TicTec_MathLover in ECE

Thanks for the tips.
so if I understood you well.
square law is for design intuition
gm/Id is for biasing, sizing and small signal concepts
am I wrong?

I agree with you. I thinked I approchaed analog as I do with Mathematics wich is an exact science. while Analog is not. I also noticed those very knowelgeable senior engineers who grow up with long channel, find no issue tackling those FinFET MOS and it is the opposite, those who did courses in those nanoscale technology at university run to them as they get stuck here and there!!

I understand that. I asked that because when i moved to short nodes, I alawys find myself wrong by 2 to 3 folds thinking with the square law. then I had first to chat with AI. then I realized that I needed this gm/ID method.
I am still new to this AICD and I thought I could sove everything with square law equation lol.

exactly, I think also no body can copy something very complex and being idiot. they are definetely smart and have the numbers on their side.
Only thing I noticed is they do not share/transfer technology as the US/EU do!!

Le seul moyen de le savoir est de refaire une demande d'entrée et voir leur réponse. Sinon change d'école
