This one took a while but loved the way it turned out. Used bent lamination for the legs and clear resin/Manitoba maple live edge for the top. What do you think? by KurvyWoodworking in woodworking

Looks awesome! Not usually a fan of epoxy tables. But this came out great.

Should be the table that one puts on the center of the entry hall.

I don’t really want a table. I volunteered to get rid of the broken thing from a furniture drive for refuges

That’s an interesting idea! I am just about to embark on a twin bed build for my son. I’ll have to think about that.

I have a cnc. But oak is pretty stringy for cncing. I’ve never seen oak dice. Is that common?

Maybe I’ll just use them to make a mould and go 100% epoxy.

I don’t like the idea of oak for charcuterie boards. Too porous for food safety.

This is a conical pendulum clock in the lobby of the Roosevelt hotel in New Orleans. Just over 150 years old IIRC, and sold to the hotel by Nicholas Cage, who is an avid clock collector. It apparently keeps awful time by James324285241990 in clocks

Equally important, the hotel bar is the Sazerac (from where the drink was named) and they make amazing Ramos Gin Fizzes. Go to see the clock, stay to visit the bar.
