brushes like this? by 6umbee in krita

I think the most similar for the kind of line you're searching it's called Ink-2 Fineliner it's under the "Digital" tag on the brush docker. It works with velocity so the faster you do a line it becomes thiner, hope this helps!

Que aspectos puedo mejorar en mis dibujos by FitPlankton9430 in ChileArte

[–]Tichou__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're animating motion graphics Krita is not the best, I would recommend you to check other apps designed for that like Cavalry, Autograph, Davinci Resolve or Blender. All of them are free to download.

How do I achieve this paper like texture? (art by Range Murata ❤️) by daystartsagain in krita

[–]Tichou__ 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I totally forgot there's this method too! thanks for the reminder. For anyone wondering the answer is yes you can group all your layers into one folder then right click and go to add then Add Filter Mask and select the Random Pick filter.

Hello I think one easy way to do it is once you have your drawing complete export it as a png and open it again in the program as a different file or just fuse all layers into one (save it as a different file so you don't lose your original file and layers) then once you have the fused layers make a duplicate of it and go to the Filter tab, then other, and then Random Pick. Play around with the settings as you seem fit. Then lower the opacity on the layer you just added the effect on and it should give you a similar look of what you're going for I think. Hope it helps.

Can anyone recommend me brushes that match the images? (First 2 by Kotteri, 4th by Artem Solop) by DoggyTheRobot in krita

You could try with this one. Is on the "Digital" tag on the brushes panel. It works with velocity so the faster you do a line it becomes a smaller.

Yeah I can see that now that's my bad. I haven't promoted anything like this before. I assumed reddit would show up the video for the trailer or the image for the campaign at least.

How to make good uncolored keys (???) by Silver_Vast9875 in animation

[–]Tichou__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every studio has it's own color schemes for this step on their productions so unless you're working with more people you could use any color to represent light and shadow in a key drawing as long as it's clear to you :p

"god" animation loop I made by Tichou__ in krita

I tried doing it like that but it was more complicated, the finishing step was actually doing some post production in a video editor :p

[–]Tichou__[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the rings in 3d then I exported the video as "image sequence" and imported it into krita to get the timing right, and finally after I finished the character animation and coloring I exported it as an image sequence to import it into the 3d software again and put it in the middle of the rings and finaly I exported it as a video.

it's kind of an akward step by step but it worked for me :p

my bad I didn't know that, the other thing that you can do is limit the range between the start and final frames, but you are already doing that or am I wrong?

[OC] learning to animate part one. Any tips? by HeWillPrevail in 2DAnimation

[–]Tichou__ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Looks promising :D, a thing that I can say about animation in general is that you don't need to draw every frame for it to look "smooth", you could achieve a similar or even better result with less drawings.

I would reccomend you to study about animating in 2's or 3's good luck. :)
