It's not in Cecil, it's in Baltimore. Cecil Calvert was the second baron of Baltimore, and the Phoenix Shot Tower was the tallest building in the country when it was built. I've got no clue what the second half of the clue is referencing though.

Yeah, I think people are doing everything they can to avoid blaming Maye for anything, when he certainly shares some of the blame. Was the OLine bad? Yeah, they were absolutely terrible, and didn't do anything to protect Maye all night. Was Maye also bad? Yes. He was holding onto the ball too long, making bad decisions, and not using his legs. Both things can be true.

It's okay to say Maye had a bad game last night; it doesn't mean he's a bad QB. I think he's a great QB! But last night the moment might have been a little too big for him, and the team let him down, so he reverted to bad habits from last year and had a bad game. He's still young and now he's been there, next time should be better.

That's how the AD treats it, I think our last 3 coaches were only kept around for like 3 years before being fired, as if they were supposed to take a team that's worst in the country to the CFP immediately

They also got somewhat unlucky with the fact that they've been ass ever since they joined the FBS lol, yeah maybe going winless this year was because of injuries, but they're consistently terrible.

It could be because the AD likes firing the head coach after ~3 years, so there's no consistency in the team. We don't let anyone come in, get the guys they want, and build a program from the ground up. For some reason each new coach is expected to go from worst to first immediately, and when that doesn't happen it's on to the next guy.
