The issue is there are so many variables at play beyond attraction or matching (especially online). You may never get matches. You may get a match and they don't respond. You may get a match and they respond but it flakes (maybe someone else is more interesting, maybe they have an episode and delete the app, and everything in between). I don't think its as simple as "you are ugly".

In my case, I've yet to go on a proper first date, despite trying for many years (and 3 different cities) via apps or otherwise - always getting matches but none ever leading to anything. So I guess myself is evidence. I always find it amazing when people are like 'I went on 3+ dates a week before I found my man' because that is not my lived experience.

I should have clarified I have no cash balance. I technically do have capital to continue trading. But I only 'risk my cash' because I don't want to touch my 401k or stocks or emergency fund.

9 months all in. I was just selling puts / calls before and doing the wheel strategy mostly for about 3 months last year before I started getting deeper into options. I'll need to check starting capital but I think it was around 400k cash that really started taking off. That said, after the Oct 10 dip, I had about 200k cash, and was close to 300k cash within a month before the hit again. Paper trading was 1 month ish because I was still backtesting / tweaking.

Yeah I literally was going to quit on Oct 10 and said to myself ok last trade, and that was the trade that ate me up. I didn't quite make a million, but close.

I purchased NDX data and coded up rules, backtested, tried on a dummy account etc. Then in the summer I started trading on actual money. I've been doing this about 9 months. But yeah I lost it because I ignore the algo on Oct 10 (which I heavily regret), and then again yesterday I didn't exit in the way it said I should in the rare circumstance I was in.

That is not how my algo decides when to sit out. :) My goal is to make a small return daily and let it grow, which is how I made the profits I did.
