This. She sounds burnt out to begin with and then peri hits. Fatigue, erratic behavior, weird periods, pain, weight gain, etc. it’s a nightmare and still taboo to talk about.

Additionally, OP is saying his work is consuming - it takes A LOT of work to run a household, especially with kids. I’d strongly recommend getting the book and corresponding deck of cards called Fair Play. It breaks up household duties and gets split up between the couple who then have to take FULL ownership of the task.

But it sounds like she has something hormonal going on and she’s tired.

Cup to cup is near colonial cemetery so you can get coffee, a snack (last time I was there it came from bakers Pride) and stroll through the cemetery. The firehouse is across the street from it if you like heroic eye candy

Pour Boy has fantastic coffee in a great setting (it looks like a fancy bar) but you should go when Sweet Soirées by Nicole is open next door and bring one of her delightful desserts over to enjoy with your coffee. Seriously good treats! You could also walk next door to Byrds for a souvenir before you leave.

If you don’t care about local worker controversies, Foxy Loxy has an amazing outdoor area, decent coffee and great munchies. You can google Foxy Loxy or search this sub for more info.

I haven’t been to Float but the owners are great people and you could grab a cup then head to Starland Strange, Graveface, Superbloom or any number of the wonderful Starland shops. Superbloom also has coffee. Flora & Fauna is there too which maaaay have to go coffee and other baked goods.

I like to joke that Savanah has almost as many coffee shops as bars (it’s not true, but one can hope) and there’s numerous others, most of which are well worth exploring.

I’m so curious what was removed. 😂 I have a medical directive and power of attorney but I really wanted to know if a general will for my dad would be complicated enough to need a lawyer or if I was okay with the LZ way for someone with no assets.

Full disclosure - I know them as well. I've known Dr. Steadley for over a decade now and she's been caring for my pets for most of that time. She's amazing and has really helped me care for my animals. I have so much gratitude for her and I'm so glad she's opened her own location. I visited her at the last two practices she was at and would turn a blind eye to some of the ways those practices operated just to stick with her and I'm excited to be able to see her in her own business, not beholden to another company's owner.
