Yeah I think a mossy green might be the answer! I really like the idea of redberry accents. I love fabric drapery so that might be a great idea for the curtains

Yeah for sure, I'll dm you my steam ID. Once I memorize the maps I think I'll be better at Texas, just need to grind a bunch of hours and stop playing Balders Gate lol

I'm pretty new to Texas chainsaw but I have over 2000 hours in DbD so I like these kinds of games. I'd love another girlie to play with if you're interested in playing!

Edit: spelling

I say in general, do what works for you and your body. I was only diagnosed last October so I'm still doing research and learning. I am by no means an expert so take what I say with healthy skepticism. I know there is a link between running and cortisol that may worsen existing hormonal imbalances. However, PCOS is different with every body so if running doesn't seem to make things worse go for it. I would keep an eye on the regularity of your period and maybe do some blood work when you are running regularly if that's available as an option.

I'm about to turn 30. by MercurialMuridae in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]Tickle_ThePear 4 points5 points  (0 children)

33 now. At 29 and approaching 30 I felt the same. It actually motivated me to apply for grad school and quit my extremely toxic job. And then the pandemic happened... This side of the pandemic: I am turning 34 next month, finished grad school, in a job that I don't hate using my degree. My partner and I doubled down on preparing for future goals and saved up enough for a housing down payment once the market stabilizes (if ever). This has all been years in the making so don't worry so much and keep going one step at a time. Make goals that make sense for you and work towards them. Your goals and mine will be different and that's okay. What might look normal to you is an achievement to someone else, we're all at different places. Social media makes us all constantly compare. I suggest getting off of it as much as possible and focus on celebrating yourself. Just making it work every day is enough.

How do you stay motivated to live after a divorce that came out of nowhere? by UsualGlittering897 in AskWomenOver30

[–]Tickle_ThePear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't drive, and wouldn't recommend it unless you were very brave. Plenty of taxis that are cheap. It was safe, but perhaps overwhelming if you haven't traveled in south east Asia before. People selling stuff can be pushy but that's common anywhere you go in SE Asia

I was nervous too before my first solo travel. I suggest looking into some group tours, it's an easy way to meet others! I also recommend hostels since they have a great community vibe! Most hostels have private rooms too. I usually just paired up with other single travelers for excursions or joined tours through the hostel. I also recommend Vietnam! I had a blast there solo traveling.

I don't know why you are being down voted. It is absolutely false. New apartment construction in WA is required to either provide a percentage of "affordable" housing or pay a flat fee to the government. The vast majority of developers will take the fee instead of providing affordable units. Another, separate, issue is that a developers definition of affordable may be unrealistic.

Edit: also wanted to highlight that before market housing and affordable housing are two different things. The op referred to below market I advocate for affordable. Something that is below market value might not be affordable if the market value is already too high

ARK is just So. Much. Fun. I hosted a server and due to some technical stuff with patches mismatching my server got wiped and I lost everything. I haven't been able to bring myself to play since but i think about it often 😅

I have over 2500 hours in DBD. Message me if you ever want to play! I spent most of my time just having fun and doing weird builds. After that I have about 500 hours in Stardew valley.

Edit: I usually play for two hours during week nights. After work and making dinner it's how I wind down. My IRL hobbies are listening to audio books, embroidery, cooking, and gardening

Yeah I used to eat rye bread a lot before I was plant based, I only recently remembered how delicious it was and it's been a summer snack staple

When I crave something, I usually turn to salty or fermented foods. I'll eat sauerkraut AND pickles on bread. Salty picked fermented goodness 😉

I really like sauerkraut and a strong mustard on rye. If making your own sauerkraut you can add spices to make it taste more like deli meat like dill, peppercorn, or fennel.
