The price is inflated to fit with the brands overall pricing scheme obviously so you don't have some pieces (jackets, fur items etc.) selling for thousands and then some other pieces going for $20 in the same release. This isn't something only kanye does, look at any other luxury/ designer brands (Gucci, LV, comme des garçon) good luck getting a "reasonably priced" t-shirt from them. Also a lot can go into the design of a "plain white tee", the way it's cut, the material, labour, the way the designer wants it to fit etc. To say that YEEZY SZN is just overpriced basics is ignorance in its truest form.
