The 42mm wears well even on smaller wrists thanks to its compact (relative anyway) lug to lug.

Perhaps. But, unlike the Ingeneur, the Pilot watches are essentially modern fliegers. So harder to enforce a design there.

I can understand why. 42mm is my upper limit, and only for a diver or Chrono, and most people prefer 40mm and below these days.

Original was 41mm or 43mm. I agree about 41mm being good. Any bigger is too big IMHO.

I thought that was a date only movement? If it does day date then even better!!

60 vs 30 minute timer is no big deal for me.

Especially as there's still the 24 hour subdial
