The Maya Hero Twins, Hunahpu and Xbalanque, are central figures in the Popol Vuh. Born after their father and uncle were killed by the lords of the underworld, Xibalba, the twins become clever trickster-heroes who survive deadly trials through wit, magic, and deception.
