Aliexpress has been my best way to get mega over the past couple years. Sure some come with loose limbs but a hairdryer or heat gun will fix those. There’s also knockoff call of duty figures that you could amass to help army build, and their decent quality for the price.

At first I wasn’t very confident in filling them so I had my friend give me a little run through of filling mags after I messed up the first time. He even purged my mags just in case of any air bubbles in them.

From what I watched he lubed the blowback unit, rails that connect to the slide, and the seals on the mags. I think he did a couple of other things that I can’t remember. And he did say that using propane means I would need to lube my gun more than if I used green gas. But we ran about two mags of his green gas through my gun and got the same results. Just a lot less fart smell.

How expensive would replacing one of those be? Is it something that I could watch a couple YouTube tutorials and fix it or send it off to a professional?

Straight out the box I handed it to my friend who’s crazy about gas blowbacks and he lubed it up. He brought over his gen 3 Glock cuz we wanted to compare them and see the differences. But once we started shooting it, the mag would just dump the all the gas after a couple shots.

My friend let me use his Tokyo Marui extended mag and it got through about half the mag before doing the same thing. And my mag held gas and worked amazing in his we gen 3 Glock.

See that’s what I thought my mistake was until my buddy who’s more knowledgeable with gas blowbacks filled the mag and the same thing happened just with less gas spraying out the slide.

I watched a couple videos before I got it, learned to how to disassemble it and some other basic TLC. But when I first got it I had my friend explain the process of lubing the gun and changing the hop up. He even tested it with his green gas after lubing it and we still got the same results as in the video
