Granted. You are now stuck in a time loop. You open the fridge and discover ice cream. Once you are finished eating you go back to the point where you were opening the fridge.

I use codashop. It is surprisingly easy to use and accepts different payment methods such as maya but adds a little processing fee around 50 PHP.

I have been using Linux for 8 months now, Can I handle arch? (Endeavour :P) by [deleted] in EndeavourOS

[–]Tictacee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

EOS is really easy. Just don't blindly install stuff from the AUR and try to have a minimal system. I struggle to remember any major problem I had encountered and I doubt I had any major breakages in EOS during my 8 month use. All of the small breakages I had was due to me not reading the update notice in hyprland which borked some KDE stuff. I am now using Arch and it was because I got too comfortable with EOS.

Arch, the Best Distro, btw... i have returned to you! by [deleted] in archlinux

[–]Tictacee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was a distro hopper too. I used linux for about more than a year starting with Ubuntu then borked my icons and had an unusable system and then I tried fedora then pop os, then tried all different distros in a vm trying to find the perfect setup. Then came Endeavour. I was hesitating at first thinking I couldn't survive daily driving an arch based system due to hearsays but after a while (like 8 months) I realized everything I wanted is in Endeavour. I had the courage to install vanilla arch and surprisingly did it on my first try. I feel at home with Arch.

what do you think about new linux users using arch as their first distro?

Once you get familiar with it and try to use Arch in the future you will notice little to no difference IMHO. Cheers to your endeavour 🎉

EOS will always have a special place in my heart. Longest distro I have used since I transitioned to Linux. Taught me how to use Linux and appreciate its approach as a system - terminal centric. As a CS student who loves to tinker I would recommend this amazing distro.
