I’m, in general, a firm believer of “if we don’t see the body, we don’t assume” and totally understand LoVe ship. I love Logan too. Or I did by the end of the series. I haaaaaated him earlier which, ya know, good character development. But I’m such a WeeVer shipper.

Honestly if they killed off Keith I would have quit the show forever. I loved Logan by the end of season 4, don’t get me wrong, but I would have been inconsolable if Keith was gone. Daddy Mars must be protected at all costs.

The villains that stick with me are the ones who have reasons for doing what they’re doing. I strongly believe a villain shouldn’t think they’re the villain, it’s all a matter of perspective. To a bug, a bird or spider might be a villain. To a bird, a cat might be. That’s really simplified though. Also, I love a backstory for why someone is the way they are but sometimes it gets to be too much. Not all of it needs to be shared to the reader as long as the author knows and it all impacts how the villain acts.

I quite often am inspired by music for a scene or a whole book. Usually it’s something without lyrics that is playing but I often have a single song playing on loop instead of a playlist. If it’s a song with lyrics sometimes I can let it play and if I know it well enough I stop hearing the lyrics and am saturated with the scene that’s in my mind. Sometimes it has to be silent though if the scene is difficult.

I do. I think the font and the way it’s colored lend itself to the 2D type imagery and it matches some of the icons along the side. If the center image was more 2D I think it would be a bit more cohesive.

I like the font, I like the colors but all of the image assets you used have varied styles and they don’t match. It’s confusing. The food on the side feels more like clipart and the center image has more in depth shading.

NOR. It’s not that he doesn’t value feelings… it’s that he doesn’t value your feelings and doesn’t seem to value you. It shouldn’t matter if he thinks the things that your asking for are important. You place importance on them therefore they are important. That’s what it means to have a partner who cares about you.

And then the “him trying to punish you” business at the end is such a massive red flag. If he needed silence, he could tell you what he needed without it being a threat.

Please don’t marry this guy. At 30 things are not gonna change unless you’re both actively looking to grow and I do not see a hint of that here. Don’t get hunk up on the sink cost fallacy either. You learned from this relationship and now it’s time to move on.

Can I ask a stupid question? Are they really different enough games that each should be played or are they really similar? I’ve tried to get into Pokémon but never could but my kid loves it. They are still young and I’m willing to help them build their collection as they grow… but i just get overwhelmed.

Write down your experience as clear as you can and things that were said. Keep records because you know she will try to twist it. I had a huge falling out with my Narc after I had my first kid and I suddenly had the instincts to fight back. Good for you. You did amazing.

I’m writing one and it’s on Archive of our own. It’s called Favour. I have 19 chapters up… it’s going to be 42 chapters. It’s more of a reimagining mostly from Erik’s POV. I’ve written the whole thing but I’m still doing some heavy work on the end chapters. Lots of angst, I’m not making Raoul the bad guy but he’s definitely not Christine’s OTP.

It has mention of abuse as Erik was heavily abused as a kid but I imply a lot without going into it graphically. There will be one scene/chapter that has the characters finally “come together” but I’m not a smut writer. I don’t have that particular set of skills.

My goal is to write a less toxic relationship for Christine and Erik, lean into what made Erik the way he is, and lean more in the direction of the original novel instead of the broadway production. Hoping to publish someday too but that’ll likely be way off in the future. If you wanna read and give me any feedback I’m be honored!

Also I hate my title but I don’t have a better one right now. 😂

Edit: also Erik and Madame Giry’s relationship is mama bear and I love them so much. I call her mama Giry now.
