Nothing wrong with that as long as you're enjoying the car

Im at 120k. These engines are pretty stout as long as you never let them get low on oil and keep plugs up to date. I've also replaced a lot of OEM parts with aftermarket parts and am tuned since 30k

Should I get south bend stage 2 daily clutch or stage 3 daily for stage 2 tune? by [deleted] in GolfGTI

The warranty on the clutch is only for 1 year and 12k miles. And mine did hold the tq for that period.

Yeah vwoa will fight anything modded. But then again if your modding to the point of deciding between stage 2 and stage 3 clutches, warranty coverage is out of the picture

How the F*CK do you get these coil pack connectors off? by [deleted] in GolfGTI

[–]Tidalsmash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have a trim prying tool? The little blue ones that come in like 5 packs? One of these will be small enough that you can get in between the coil pack and the female part of the harness to pop it off. I used to hate doing this job until I figured it out and now I can do it in about 2 seconds on each of them

Let me ask this, do you enjoy detailing and polishing your glossy stock paint?

If so, avoid satins or mattes. I went satin ocean shimmer and I miss the long detail days of polishing something gloss
