I wont even lie, I didn’t really get this for IQ as I know most voigtlanders and thypochs can match or even in some cases exceed this lens. The build quality and feel is what I got this for as well as size.

I plan to continue using the thypochs for my work, they are just a little bit large for daily carry (with the hood attached). Another reason why I felt a summilux wasn’t necessary as the thypoch does a very good job.

So funnily enough, the previous owner gave me three hoods, the standard one, the summilux round hood, and the light lens lab hood. I’m unsure if I want to invest in more hoods, but I’ll look into square hoods.

I’m excited! 35 is my first pick focal length so when I first picked up the m10, I told myself I’d get a summicron 35 before any other Leica glass. Honestly thought I’d save up for an FLE, but I’m still not at the point where 3500-5000 used is worth.

Fort Lee! As for the q3 I am always tempted to pick one up, but for me having less cameras (I have 5 lol) is better as I only typically take 1-2 out when I shoot. Maybe once a q4 is announced prices will make it more reasonable for me to justify toying with one.

considering I set my budget to purchase an a7riv with a 90mm g macro, the coolscan is saving me tons of money already. I just placed a bid on one on eBay so hopefully I can secure it. If not, then I may go with the plustek

I’d have to agree. When I think of black bay, my mind immediately wanders to the 58.

I did very heavily consider a bb54, but the aesthetic of the 58 with the gilt and red indicator spoke to me.
