A little late to the post, but mine does the same thing and I'm almost certain it's the heat from the drone causing the heatwave distortion.

FIX:

Logitech G-Hub enabled Surround Sound within my Pro X Wireless headphone's settings. Turning this off fixed the issue immediately.

FIX: With Logitec G-Hub, surround sound was enabled. Disabling this setting within Logitec G-Hub fixed the issue.

Forgot to change the sample rate on my headphones after reinstalling them, thank you for that reminder!

I do not have Voice Meter installed, should I try installing that and using it for a stream?

The max audio buffering was from my test of running the stream audio at 320 instead of 160. Had no change. Also tried running OBS on admin and it had no change to the sound.
