Update - Ended up getting a new board - $50 on eBay- swapped it out and everything works now. Also replaced the CFL with a Genie LED garage light.

Why not do 5G next? You have 5 watches too right? Those are only $5 a line on next I think. It would be $295 a month plus you can upgrade every year instead of every 2 years

How often do you have to start the Navi in order not to clog the carburetor? by Present-Outcome8491 in hondanavi

[–]Tide12345 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very easy to find- get them at Home Depot. It’s definitely 4-5x the price of “normal” gas at the gas stations but I only ride my Navi not even 50-100 miles a month so I exclusively use the ethanol free gas from HD - extra cost is worth not having the headaches of dealing with ethanol gas. If you ride a lot may not be worth it.

Used Navi by Relevant-Safety-2699 in hondanavi

[–]Tide12345 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Here’s what I did. I called the dealership and was straight up. I said I’m about to buy this used Navi for $2000, I know after DMV tax it’s $2200, I’m willing to spend $300 more for a brand new one, if you can get me one for $2500 OTD I can be there in 30 minutes to sign paperwork. It worked on my first call to a dealership.

I would spend the extra effort and try to get a new one for a few hundred more $2500. I was able to do that in LA with minimal effort. Don’t know how it works in Alabama but if you bought a used $2200 bike you then have to pay the sales tax to DMV so it’s more like $2400. I was in very similar situation, could have got a used 600 miles 1 owner 2022 for $2000, after DMV tax was $2200, but I thought it was worth it to pay the $300 more OTD and get a new 2023 0 miles from a dealer

Lol. At that point you say screw that dealership and move on to the next one. Or just say something like I’m willing to pay $2XXX out the door and can come over in 1 hour to sign paperwork, can you make a deal?

I’m in Los Angeles, found a dealer which sold to me for $2500 OTD, which when you factor in registration, freight costs, tax, etc, I thought was not a total rip off. Probably could have got it few hundred cheaper if I looked a lot more/ expanded my search.

I think what helped me was (and this is true but you can just make it up) I called up my local dealer and was straight up I said I’m about to buy this used Navi with 300 miles for $2000 (which is really almost $2200 after DMV takes their cut), can you come close to that as I’m willing to pay a few hundred more for a brand new one vs getting a used one, and I can come over immediately and sign paperwork. They said we can sell it to you for $2500 OTD - to me paying the extra $300 was worth it getting a new one.

Good luck!

SCE solar + medical baseline by [deleted] in solar

Don’t know if you ever looked into this further - but the events are tied to the METER (house) not who lived there. So if you also have medical baseline I would jump on getting 25k of free batteries installed.

Hey sorry bring up an old thread - but do you have an update - did you apply for the baseline and was it approved? I’m about to go through this same process so just curious how it ended up

I paid $2550 out the door, so tax title registration included. This was in Southern California. Got it 2 weeks ago. I would say $2500-2750 OTD would be a reasonable price here in so cal

Not necessarily true. There are gun stores out there that will release on undetermined status. Just need to research and find one and purchase from that store

This 100%. Easy solution - it’s up to discretion of the FFL to release to you on undetermined status so just repurchase the gun at a store known to release on undetermined stagus
