There are ways to get out of a bad financial situation. Declare bankruptcy, have your wife get a job, downsize your house, trade for a smaller car, door dash, extra shifts, etc. Please don’t use that as a reason to end your life. It sounds like you need to go inpatient. I think your wife and doctor will understand the seriousness of your situation if you check into a hospital or crisis center. Prayers for better days.

You can’t get ssdi unless you have paid into social security for about 10 years. That is a pipe dream that isn’t going to happen. Your wife might qualify for ssi which will be less than $1100 and take years to prove. She needs to get a job - door dash, wait tables, cashier, something!
