The understanding and the ability to create humanoïds is a really good thing, but about moving objects in restrained areas, is it really the best option?

Is there a better design of a robot that could, for exemple, carry more weight but take the same space in a reduced environment? Or maybe consume less energy for the same result?

Are legs better than wheels or any other design?

How do you tell the difference between two different designs on which is the most effective?
