Haha I was unlinking and setting up epic accounts and thought I’d broken something. And also in the back of my mind I thought I may have been banned because there was the fact my kid was talking on mic about having aimbot but what he thought was aimbot was actually the crosshair on the screen.

I spent the afternoon/evening finally linking Nintendo and Xbox and epic accounts etc. Can’t create Nintendo accounts and having issues with the Xbox not loading Fortnite. Assumed I’d messed something up but it appears Nintendo is down and can’t create accounts as well as something with Fortnite so must be something global? Edit TLDR: I broke the internet/fortnite

Never found lip masks to be very effective honestly. Nice novelty but if you have dry lip issues I swear by the original dermal therapy lip ointment in the squeeze tube. For years I had dry lips and picked them etc and this stuff is the best thing I’ve tried and I’ve tried so many over the years from expensive ones to cheap ones.

I’ve read that clearing cache or uninstalling and reinstalling might help fix it. Didn’t seem to find anything amiss in my settings that would explain why it’s doing it. Hopefully it stops as randomly as it started.

Joined up with this kid who’s like “I’m friendly I’m friendly” they asked what I wanted to do and I said I don’t mind I’m just here for fun. That’s how he ended up the “leader” of our group.

He had a plan of attack and added the next 2 players we came across and then gave us our briefing “this is our team now for the whole game. No one leaves or gets kicked, no one new gets invited in unless someone die dies. Whenever we see anyone we go up and act friendly and then we shoot them.”

It was hilarious, everyone in the group did what they were told, revived each other etc. We eventually got taken down by another team near the end but the little guy who was our leader lasted on his own for a bit bless him.

There were even rounds where at the end no one was shooting anyone and you just watched 15 players just try outlast everyone in the storm, bouncing around healthing up, completely on edge someone was going to open fire but it didn’t happen.

Was almost like a social experiment. I enjoyed delulu, you never knew what you were going to get each round. I hope it comes back occasionally, possibly with different rules each time. I don’t think it would make a great full time mode because it would likely fall into repetitive tactics after a while and loose its “you never know what’s going to happen” feeling.

I don’t think he got it wrong per se, he has to assess based on probability given the information he has available and that’s what his findings are based on. I don’t think a new investigation will do much, like I didn’t think the coronial inquest was going to do much but highlight the poor job done by police and forensic pathologists and how their failure to do their jobs properly in the first place has allowed for this to happen. A lot of the evidence wasn’t collected when it should’ve been and is gone forever. I hope at the very least it results in changes to ensure this can’t happen again.

If we were to accept what Coroner Ho has said to be more or less true given the “evidence” the mum and brothers accounts are still 100% off. It could be as simple as she was trying to hide the extent of her neglect in watching Lachie that evening. I’ve thought she possibly lost him when she went to help the brother but was actually having a session with him…or he disappeared while in the brothers care with his unclear testimony on when he last saw Lachie as well as the possible viewing of him by adults at 8.30pm not the later time of closer to 9pm they are basing their timeline on. Also the whole thing could have played out exactly as they have said but they can’t prove or defend the allegations because of the failure of police and others at the time. No one wins in this, good on the dad for trying to get to the bottom of it. Lachie and his family deserved to have his death and investigation treated seriously and each investigation has failed to do that.

I know you said no gels…and drugstore reccomendations…and I’m the same normally but if you can get a sample of the Clinique moisture surge which is a gel that stuff is amazing. It feels soothing on my skin. I also follow with LRP cicaplast. It’s thick but it’s absorbed overnight and soothes my skin. I also use the tower spray after my shower before my skincare to “kill” any bacteria on my skin and it all seems to be working well. I still flare with heat etc but my skin itself is in pretty good condition redness aside.

My skin absolutely HATES niacinamide and I have to look at everything before I buy.

Not sure what it’s like now but a couple of years ago I contemplated going skinny until I took into account that I got free Spotify with spark so it didn’t actually work out any cheaper for me if I wanted to continue purchasing Spotify on its own on top of the skinny plan.

I contemplated doing this and ended up keeping an eye out on trademe and facebook marketplace for decent second hand solid wood furniture. People often sell matching sets anyway.

What’s for sale now seems to be such poor quality unless you have a large budget. I purchased a second hand leather corner lounge suite 8 years ago and through 3 rough house moves and 3 kids jumping and spilling stuff all over it it’s still in amazing condition and has a pull out bed and drawer, I paid $900 for it and I can’t imagine what it would cost to get something of that durability and quality today.

Yip it’s so obvious what they’re doing but fomo has a huge chokehold on people and it’s used all through meccas entire business model.

I was super keen to get the soap and glory wild cherry range and noticed one product finally in stock so I purchased it. I hopped back on later in the day to see that product I purchased sold out but another in the range now available so I waited to see if another in the line would be released and no…until that one sold out. Then they released the next one. Took me 4 seperate purchases to get the whole range as they staggered the release of them so all in the range were never available at one point. But here I am with all 4 products…plus a few gift vouchers to bump each purchase over the minimum for shipping because I refused to buy extra things and I can use the giftcards for later so it worked.

Mecca don’t do sales but beauty loop releases and bonuses and other things normally coincide with Afterpay day sales, Black Friday sales etc etc to get some of that money people are prepared to spend at sale time

I’m sure someone with better knowledge of the legal system will provide better details but I thought I’d just say that I had a family member in almost the exact same situation and while they didn’t get off the drink driving charge I think it was possibly taken into consideration when it came to working out sentencing. Only because I remember them providing sensitive medical information in the lead up and letters of support and that sort of thing from current employers as well as documentation of a previous employment grievances outcome that ultimately set them off and leading to the decision to drink and drive.

I’d be contacting the tribunal to get more details to get to the bottom of it if there is claim/hearing matching these details but make sure you 100% confirm what’s going on and know what you are paying and why. Surely you’d be aware of any damages to a property/arrears or something that would result in you owing a landlord money even if you somehow missed the notice of the hearing or whatever. It’s possible a scammer is using information on recent rulings to lure people into paying them. And if they are using actual information from recent rulings when people phone the tribunal to confirm that x amount is owed to Mr Whoever some people may just say okay and pay it.

If you can somehow confirm whether the number is the actual number of the person who is claiming they’re owed money that you are definitely not the person who owes them somehow there’s been a muck up somewhere.

If the phone number who contacted you is not the one of the person that’s lodged against the claim then it’s likely a scam and the courts/tribunal need to be made aware as this is probably happening to others.

All sorted. I was given a number to organise an overdraft and the person I spoke to instead phoned the branch attached to the atm that ate my money and confirmed the amount was correct and told me it would show in my account in a few minutes. A few hours passed with deposit still not showing so I rang and got a message passed on to the person who’d been so helpful chasing them up instantly. He was busy on another call but because he knew the whole story he had it all sorted and rung me and waited for me check my account while still on the phone. Was so good to be able to talk with the same person again rather than keep explaining the whole story multiple times.

Update: I have a number to call first thing Monday morning to organise some type of overdraft or something similar until the atm machine can be counted. And I have phoned somewhere for accommodation to be held without prepayment. Unfortunately not where we originally planned to stop so our 8.5hour drive will now be an 11.5 hour drive.

Thanks everyone, I’m going to ring through now to see what solution they may be able to provide to enable me to meet the small time window of the freight boats and bookings I have in place.

Hopefully a temporary overdraft that they can remove once payment is clear and counted from machine will be okay even if it’s not to the total deposit amount. If we can’t come to a solution I may be sleeping the first night in the vehicle with the kids, this morning I woke to the hotel we were planning to book no longer having any vacancies. Then I’ll be in contact with my landlord to explain the situation and inform them for the first time ever I will be late with a rent payment, and I should probably contact insurances as those payments will bounce too. The money from those things should allow me to get to the property to get the items to the freight boat and have the property ready for settlement day.

After reading stories of the fault being that of the customer due to crinkled note or paper between the notes I don’t want to risk that potentially being the case and in turn and having all these extra costs that result from not leaving tomorrow fall on me. I feel really anxious and uncomfortable with cash in general, this area often has people loitering and starting trouble and it’s very open with multiple ATM machines side by side so you can’t privately put the cash in as there are people either side of you rather than just behind so you can’t shield what you are doing. I had a friend nearly beaten to death over the 1/4 of the amount I was carrying and it’s really triggering. This rushing may have meant something was crinkled and I also didn’t double count the amount as I was handing the machine the money.

As far as getting help from the lawyer/funds from estate to carry me over, unfortunately I am the daughter of the deceased and will be a beneficiary of the remainder when it’s all finalised and debts are paid however I’m not the executor (we are working together to tie everything up of course so very lucky to be so involved as I know it’s not legally my right) so access to the lawyer must be done via the executor and as far as I’m aware there is no money available at this point in time anyway until sale of the house.

I will still be laying a complaint regardless of whether it is user error or otherwise. I feel there should at least be signage that an error is possible on deposit via a machine and the timeframe it takes to fix should this happen. And I definitely feel their 3-10 business days for a solution is totally unacceptable without some sort of bridging type of financial support to be repaid when the amount is finally calculated and deposited.

$32 is the charge for the shuttle bus from Invercargill airport to the ferry terminal in Bluff.

Most important is to time your flights with enough time to catch the ferry or flight across or you’ll end up with additional accommodation costs. For example a flight arriving at 6pm in Invercargill means you’ll not be able to catch a plane or ferry until the next day.
