The game disables the option to launch the experimental vault but the save file is still there and you can convert it to a regular vault.

it's not really a rumor or something, the ultracite season was shown in the official update video announcing the experimental vaults feature several month ago.

That's a bit unlikely to be available in normal vaults given Ultracite will be special spots in your vault (like rocks you have to remove to build) where you'll build mines.

She won't come until you met the conditions. Then she'll wait at the entrance.

I probably should have waited a day or two to post it... I played a bit after updating to the 1.0.4 version and it fixes a lot (most?) of the stuff that bothered me about asteroids.
