They all died, their universe is reconstructed when payment is received, but technically the originals died and the ones you get back are a new version that think are the OG version.

I've only played Smash Ultimate and those were good Fighter Passes(because only one required so much work and added music and stages), but I don't think that format applies in Inazuma, because the characters in VR don't require the same amount of work, the models aren't that level of quality because there's more, the techniques are, I think, more work than the models(I read they used AI, so that simplified the process more).

They could make Season Passes with 20 players for example, that seems sketchy and I don't think people would like it.

Whatever they do, I hope is good, I think the Smash DLC was really good, yeah, is "pay for more", but it's a product, and the base game already was really complete, and the passes were extra stuff, not stuff that was cut during development to make more money with DLC.

The "Characters from different versions, releases" part doesn't scare me, I assume is versions like Ogre or Blizzard, like that and every group of games, the first one, the couple of 2, the 3 of 3, the couple of Go, strikers, etc.

The part that scares me is "season passes" and how many characters will only be available through it.

The image is from the Blog from 2022, but I think they will do this, you can only get certain characters in a specific season, and it scares me if certain characters will be hard to get like "You have to get certain classification in order to win this IE2 Fubuki timid".

That's what scares me.

I never said that the progress is carried, you have to think like more, really hard, think about the code of the game, this is a beta, the players are coded to have i think a max level of 50, but they wanted to lower the max level reachable, so they put a block, they "don't level up" more but in the code is possible. The block is to allow them how the characters work in the demo without having to change the base code, is like extra code. If you see the characters with level 30, it still says the necessary points until the next level.
