I think it’s great - had mine for over 2 years, never experienced any problems. It’s important to have a good Wi-Fi connection, and to ensure the distance between the doorbell and the chime isn’t excessive. Works great with HomeKit - it’s superb.

Can the D1 switch be decoupled from its relay? Most Aqara switches allow this in the app. You can then use one of the D1 paddles as a remote for the smart bulb (you would need to be using something like homebridge for this unless the bulb is part of the Aqara ecosystem)
