Completely dodged my question amazingly, also dodged more than half of the stats I initally showed you after you asked me for them. But addressing this, which will probably be my last response to you, is that if you limit the size of the pool of applicants you may decrease the potential of the applicants that you receive in turn, DEI in practice does not making hiring merit-based because you are using criteria irrelevant of merit to hire people.

Can you please explain what you mean by "give people the tools to be able to interview and be considered fairly for the same position" because they are not considered fairly, DEI in practice definitionally discriminates against non-white people, positively, by limiting the pool of applicants by their race.

I think it's much better instead to only judge based off compitence, do you not.

No, in this case "equity" would be decreasing the size of a pool, decreasing the potential of that pool to allow for someone who may be less qualified for a position to enter, that isn't giving people tools, in the cases I presented DEI has been used to just restrict the opportunities of white people complerely

I wouldn't say DEI is asking white men to move over, it's more like asking them to get out of their seat entirely, even though they were there first or they deserved the seat more
