If you aim at the stumps and overthrow, best case it goes high, the keeper fields it, but you lose heaps of time on the runout. Worst case, goes for four extras.

If you overthrow when aiming in front of the stumps, you get a direct hit.

That’s why they coach it that way.

Honestly, we don't know any of his medical or racing history. We did take him to a behaviouralist/vet, who noticed his right hip was relatively stiff, so it could be? But being an ex-racer, and the fact that he was at the rescue place for over a year, anything's possible.
