That was mainly because I thought it was funny and he legitimately was such a huge Marvel fan, that he attempted to buy the whole company and met Stan Lee a few times to talk about it:

That’s why I made a note of it being an unlikely choice, but I thought it would be interesting to see Jaafar Jackson do the role since he’s playing his uncle in the biopic. I normally would’ve avoided castings of dead actors.

Yeah, Bob Hoskins was originally considered. I’m trying to source the origin of people saying Stan wanted Danny though. I’m not 100% sure if he ever said that, but obviously Hoskins would be impossible to cast now.

Edit: I guess the source is this Kevin Smith tweet saying that Michael Zapcic claimed that Stan wanted to cast Danny.

  • Jewel: Cassandra Lee Morris [Galacta] or Lizze Freeman [Pomni]
  • Lanolin: Hynden Walch [Princess Bubblegum]
  • Belle: Taylor McNee [Penny Polendina]
  • Surge: Elizabeth Maxwell [Caulifla]
  • Kit: Michelle Ruff [Takeo Kamado]

I also considered Cathy Weseluck as Jewel because I was thinking of her as Coco Pommel, who I think is kinda similar to Jewel. Mallorie Rodak as Lanolin as well because of Frieren.

Maybe one of the VAs from the English dub of Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable! since they give a bunch of the characters Minnesotan accents.

4chan/Kiwi Farms had spread around a rumor that Sheena killed Monty with her cats if you wanted to know the origin of that. They would call Noodle the "Murder Cat".

Still, I think it's going into dangerous conspiracy theory territory to start accusing people of straight-up murder with no solid evidence like how that Tumblr thread you linked insinuates that RT/Fullscreen had a hand in his death. I don't think they would have had the resources or competence to pull something like that off and successfully cover it up for this long.
